About Selina

I am 26 years old and I have been living in London for two years now. I always wanted to be a teacher and that's why I did my Bachelor and Master's degree in education. It is just very nice to see how the students evolve over time and make progress. Especially when teaching a language, I think it is so important to not only teach the language itself but also the culture of the country. As a native speaker I am very passionate about that. I am very patient, I adapt my teaching style to the needs of my students and because of my experience I can offer a lot of different methods, so we can solve any problem you might have with the language. I want my lessons to be productive and efficient so that we can make the most of our time and my students progress quickly.

About the lesson

I've worked in several schools in Germany and been working in London as a German Language Assistant at different independent schools for two years now. I am familiar with the exam schemes and know how to prepare the students for GCSE and A-Level exams. My lessons are for everyone and any level and are usually 30 - 60 min. long. I believe that it is very important to see every student as an individual and to understand what learning techniques work for him best. I always try to make my lessons fun and enjoyable but also productive and efficient.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Selina recently, and I definitely recommend her as a tutor. She is not just a driven and organized teacher but also someone capable of developing inspiring relationships with her students .
She is gifted with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Her ability to connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly remarkable.
She has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages. And she is a real collaborative workmate.
