Nursing Fundamentals and Med Surg Tutoring That Helps Students Understand and Pass

Professor Mensah was my clinical instructor for fundamentals and she was by far one of the best instructors I’ve ever had. She makes sure to break down every single process you encounter and helps to walk you through things such as which lab values indicate which diseases. She helped me flourish through my nursing classes and was extremely supportive and encouraging.

Dr. Mensah has been an incredible inspiration and support in my nursing education. She was my nursing clinical professor. She taught and encouraged me to desire to understand a patient and disease process by knowing how to connect signs and symptoms with the knowledge of multiple nursing disciplines and evidence-based practices.
I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from her. I did not just learn nursing practice but life lessons in how she treated and spoke with everyone around her. She carries a passion and joy for nursing and desires the best for her students. She is not just a nurse but an excellent educator and has a passion for learning.

Dr. Mensah was my clinical instructor for Fundamentals of Nursing, which was my very first experience in a hospital setting. Her clear, compassionate, and effective learning approach gave me the absolute foundation I needed to excel in nursing school and beyond. I would not be the nurse I am today without her mentorship.

She is not only extremely knowledgeable, but patient, approachable, and warm. She truly cares about the success of each one of her students. Dr. Mensah was my clinical instructor at Adelphi University. Her knowledge in nursing is one I would never forget. She is very particular with her expectations, but as nursing students it’s exactly what we need to be part of this field. Dr. M was my clinical instructor for my Med Surg II clinical rotation. She is incredibly helpful in keeping you motivated and helping you realize that you can strive for more than what you already have. She gives amazing mnemonics and stories that correlate to help you understand the concepts. I remember when she was there guiding me through an I.V. setup for a patient. She is patient and encourages you to think before making a choice. She will always encourage you to think and formulate an answer before she gives you the answer.

Dr. Mensah was my clinical instructor for my med-surg 2 rotation. She was incredibly informative and welcoming and always urged us to use our critical thinking skills. The information she has taught me has really stuck with me even after all this time. I recommend her to any nursing student that may be struggling.

Professor Mensah is truly an incredible teacher and an even better person. I had the privilege of having her as my nursing clinical instructor, and I always looked forward to clinicals because she made learning enjoyable. Professor Lucy Mensah was my clinical instructor for my Adult Health 2 clinical rotation. Not only did she provide an abundance of helpful information to make sure my classmates and I were successful throughout our rotation, she also instilled confidence in us to reach our best potential. She helped me enhance my role in the health care field and I will always thank her for it.

There is no doubt that Dr. Mensah is the best professor I have had! She was my clinical professor at Molloy University during Med-Surg II. After having her, my knowledge, confidence, and clinical judgment grew tremendously. She creates a supportive learning environment while also challenging her students to think critically and provide safe, compassionate patient care.

I know Professor Mensah, as she was one of my clinical professors during my MedSurg II Clinical Rotation at Molloy University. After having her for just one semester, she was absolutely incredible and she will forever leave a mark on my nursing journey! She is so kind, patient, and makes nursing so much fun! I was able to learn so much from her as a Professor, and would take her again if I could.

Dr. Mensah was my clinical professor for Med-Surg, and she was amazing. She created a great learning environment, and I learned so much with her. If you didn't understand a topic, she would explain it further and make sure you left clinical an expert in that topic. She has so much knowledge in the field of nursing, and it shows. She would sit one-on-one with you to make sure you understand, give constructive feedback, and her knowledge helped me do well on my tests and nursing skills. Again, I can confidently say this is one of the best professors I've had and would love to have her again and again.
