About Romina
Hi, I'm Romina! As a bass player, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with diverse cover and original bands. This journey allowed me to arrange my own bass lines and contribute to creating original material with bandmates. My formal musical education began in Italy, where I took private bass lessons and attended Lizard Academy. I even had the valuable experience of assisting my music teacher, helping with other students and stepping in to teach when needed. After moving to the UK, I further honed my skills by pursuing higher education, achieving both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Music. I'm a patient yet creative teacher who genuinely loves helping students grow and achieve their musical goals.

I'm very passionate about music and open to all genres, which I explored in depth during my Bachelor's and Master's studies in music. I teach bass guitar to beginner and intermediate students, covering a range of styles including fingerstyle, plectrum, and slap. I also teach music theory and how to apply theoretical concepts directly on the instrument. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals, with flexible durations ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Perfect! I’ve played on and off for many years and for the last six years quite a bit. I wanted to improve and have been with Romina for over 6 months. It’s interesting how many of the people I play with have commented on just how much better I sound. Romina has been great at working with me in a manner that I can handle and she’s very conscientious. Her set up is great. Just keep an eye on her cats, one sleeps in my case. I think he’s trying to escape. Totally recommend Romina, she’s quite funny too.
- Tim is a very talented bass player. He's fun to work with and brings a positive attitude to every lesson. Tim is committed to improving his technique, exploring and developing his own way of expressing himself through music, and developing his improvisation skills. You're doing great, Tim!Romina's response :

I have been studying bass with Romina for six months, working towards my Grade 4 after a five-year break from playing. I also have multiple learning difficulties.
Romina is a fantastic teacher who explains and demonstrates challenging concepts in a clear and accessible way. She is extremely patient and truly invested in her students' progress.
With her support, I can now play more technically demanding material than I could before, and my knowledge of music theory has grown considerably.
