About Ethan

I want to teach because I enjoy helping students work towards the grades they aspire to achieve and reach their full potential. As a 2025 graduate of School of the Arts, Singapore (SOTA), I have been tutoring IB HL Physics since March 2026, and have gained experience adapting lessons to different learning needs. My experiences in the Singapore Physics League and Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad, where I received a Bronze Award, have also strengthened my problem-solving skills and given me a deeper understanding of Physics that I hope to share with my students.

About the lesson

Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style, using a combination of my own practice resources, the student’s notes and worksheets, and IB past-year papers. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding alongside problem-solving strategies, with greater emphasis on past-year questions and exam preparation as examinations approach. As a recent IB graduate, I can also share practical insights from my own experience with the IB curriculum and examinations.
