About Onyinye
Teaching Igbo is more than sharing words; it is about passing on culture, identity, and pride. The Igbo language is rich in culture, identity, and expression—and I am passionate about helping learners discover and embrace it. My lessons are interactive, practical, and adapted to the learner’s goals, whether you are a beginner, a child learning to read and speak Igbo, or an adult wishing to improve fluency. Teaching Methodology: I focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, combining everyday conversation with structured exercises. For children, I use songs, stories, and fun activities to build vocabulary and confidence. For adults, I emphasize practical communication, grammar, and cultural context. Lesson Length: Sessions typically last 60 minutes, though shorter, lively lessons are available for younger learners. Qualifications & Experience: I am a native Igbo speaker and an experienced educator with over 12 years in teaching. I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults, both in Nigeria and internationally, helping them connect with the language and culture.
