I believe the best way to learn physics and math is through student engagement. I don't waste time developing the theory that is already in the book, the sooner the student starts working, the better!
When the student starts to get by with the easier questions, then I gradually increase the difficulty to maintain the level of effort.
Learning tends to be much faster this way!
