About Jay
I have a BS in Physics, and currently work in social services and am attending graduate school in Social Work. I love working with youth of all ages, in particular 9-12th graders. I have tutored a variety of subjects and in different settings including: Mathnasium, private ACT tutoring, and college level courses.

I use a lot of dry humor, and believe in helping students acheive their goals. I know many people hate math... and that's okay! It can't always be fun, but I do my best to make it manageable. I work with my students to design lessons around how they learn and use all the resources available to them.
