About Erica
I have a Bachelor of Science in Physics, and am an engineer for a company that makes navigation equipment. I am also obtaining my Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. These things require me to constantly use math in ways others may not have to. To do my professional and schoolwork efficiently, committing many math concepts to memory is essential, and makes me confident in my ability to teach them to others.

I have a passion for math that I love to share with students. I specialize in math concepts learned in grades ranging from 5th grade to first year undergraduate. One of the most helpful aspects of my lessons is explaining concepts using visual aids such as diagrams and color-coded drawings. This is usually followed by sample questions that I review with the student. My mission is always to make sure that a student can understand a concept and know when to apply it, not just simple memorization.
