About Maya

Among winning awards in esteemed competitions around the world, I’ve also performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall (NYC), The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (SF), and Andy’s Jazz Club (Chicago), and shared the stage with renowned artists such as Gordon Goodwin, Wayne Bergeron, Jiggs Whigham, and Gregg Field.
I had the honor of being the pianist in the 2022 Disneyland All-American Band, and am a Yamaha sponsored artist.

I was able to accomplish all of this because I had great piano teachers growing up, and would love to help you reach whatever your musical goals might be.

About the lesson

From small kids to adults in retirement, if you are looking to start or continue piano lessons, I am in the teacher for you.
While many say that those who cannot do, teach, but I am the perfect example of an exception to that.
I am an actively performing professional musician, so I can give you the training you desired along with a look into the professional world if that is something that interests you. I have over 10 years of teaching experiences in many styles and would love to help you reach your musical goals.
