About Thomas
Hi, I'm Tom and I'm a professional musician with over 10 years experience. My career has taken me to lots of places over the years; I have had the pleasure of playing at sold-out venues, theatres and festivals across the UK with groups ranging from Rock and Pop to Funk, Jazz and beyond. Whether you're taking your first steps with guitar or have been playing for years and have got stuck in a rut, I am excited to help you take your playing to the next level!

I am able to teach Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Bass Guitar at all levels and styles. Every student is different and I am always excited to discuss how I can tailor my lessons to your own unique needs and goals; whether thats learning a new song, or working towards a music grade exam. I usually recommend 1 hour lessons as this allows a good amount of time to get to grips with new concepts. I will bring my breadth of knowledge, professional experience and enthusiasm to every lesson to give you the skills to level up your guitar playing.

Having lessons with Tom really helped me improve my confidence in improvising on the guitar. His enthusiasm and patience really put me at ease and kept me motivated to practice the concepts we went over in our lessons! I can't recommend him enough.
I had had 3 other guitar teachers before i met Tom, whilst studying at the same university. I had given up on guitar when i met Tom at college, but he inspired me to pick it back up. During my time having lessons with Tom, not only did he nurture the skills to be able to play what I wanted, he also showed me how to explore my own creativity and find my own voice on the instrument, unlike my previous teachers who just taught me what they wanted me to play.
Tom really helped me progress my guitar playing and my knowledge of theory. I was really impressed by the breadth of knowledge he has and he showed me so many good tips for getting started and new music that I should listen to that really inspired me. Can't recommend enough!
