About Zainab
I have a strong background in education, with hands-on experience across a variety of settings. I began my career as a Teaching Assistant, supporting classroom learning. I then worked as a private tutor for three families, where I worked closely with children to support their academic growth. Most recently, I completed my PGCE and achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), working as a Trainee Teacher in a primary school. Through these roles, I have built a solid foundation in planning and delivering lessons, managing behaviour, and adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils. I am passionate about fostering a positive learning environment, supporting children to reach their potential.

Lesson times are flexible, ranging from 40 mins to 60. In the first lesson we will discuss what your child needs help with and the level they are working at. Before each lesson, we will play a PowerPoint of the lesson topic and then we will do some guided practice answering questions. Lessons will be planned, broken into digestible steps and provide an appropriate level of challenge. The goal will always be to make progress and increase confidence.
