About Louise
I’m a friendly, down-to-earth media teacher with a background in broadcast journalism and many years’ experience teaching creative media and digital subjects. I’ve worked with young people and adults at different stages — from students building confidence at school or college to adults exploring media for the first time or changing career.
I love teaching because I enjoy helping people realise they’re more capable than they think. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and practical, with plenty of space to ask questions and learn at your own pace. Whether you’re studying media, working on a project, or just curious about how things work behind the scenes, my aim is to make learning feel clear, enjoyable, and achievable.

I offer supportive, practical media lessons tailored to each learner’s goals, confidence level, and learning style. With a background in broadcast journalism and years leading and teaching creative media, digital, and IT programmes, I help students build real-world skills alongside academic understanding.
My approach is structured but relaxed, breaking complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. I specialise in engaging learners who may lack confidence, feel overwhelmed, or learn differently, and I adapt sessions to suit GCSE, college, adult learners, or career-changers.
Lessons focus on creativity, critical thinking, and industry-relevant skills — whether that’s media theory, content creation, digital storytelling, or portfolio development — all in a calm, encouraging environment where questions are always welcome.
