I'm a former middle school math and science teacher who now assists in research in the department of Neurobiology. I have a bachelors degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. I've also participated in an array of extra-curricular activities such as dance, music and art.

I have an in depth understanding that not all students have the same style of learning. A student's struggle to understand a specific concept may simply be due to the delivery in which it's being taught. With this in mind, I make it a goal to understand how each student learns uniquely.... this approach gives me the opportunity to tailor my lessons to fit his or her needs.
