Russian Teacher in Central Westminster - Natalia Roberts

I have had a few weeks of one on one lessons with Natalia after previously learning Russian in groups. Natalia had been great. She has tailored the material to my circumstances and identified strengths and weaknesses. I am very pleased and progress is faster than learning in a group.

Natalia is a wonderful tutor and seems to cater for all abilities. I am already bilingual, and yet she has still helped me improve my russian and always challenges me, tailoring the lessons to my ability. Her teaching method is very solid, so I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a russian tutor.

I have been receiving Russian tuition from Natalia now for several weeks. I started from a very basic level and have been making progress that I am very pleased with. The lessons with Natalia have exceeded my expectations considerably. Natalia is an excellent and inspirational teacher who clearly enjoys helping others explore and learn the Russian language. Natalia is extremely friendly and approachable and her enthusiasm is infectious. I very much look forward each week to my next lesson. The pace of learning is extremely good and I am always impressed with how Natalia remembers details about me, the words I struggle with, and how she makes a point of focusing on those in order that I improve. She sets homework each week and quite rightly expects that work to be done in order that progress can be made. She reviews homework meticulously and identifies and corrects errors as we go through the next lesson. Natalia is also very fair and generous in her allocation of teaching time in that if we have spent time chatting about issues she ensures that does not erode teaching time. All in all, Natalia is a great teacher and I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is considering tuition in Russian.

Natalia is a fantastic tutor. As a 35year old that couldn't even say hello or goodbye I was nervous to even begin but she has taught me to read, write and speak very confidently in only a year!!!! I can now speak to my mother in law which I'm so very proud of. Ill continue on with her as its such a rewarding experience. Very highly reccomended. Chris.

I chose Natalya after self-studying Russian for 4 years and reaching an upper intermediate level. I wanted to do a short intensive Russian course with a teacher in order to clarify grammatical points and improve my confidence and accuracy in speaking.

I have studied quite a few languages and Natalya is by far the best language teacher I have ever studied with. She can quickly pinpoint areas of weakness, and is able to give extremely clear, accurate and precise feedback on pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. This enabled me to improve rapidly - in the first hour I could feel my pronunciation notably improving.

Her ability to explain complex grammatical points with great specificity and clarity is invaluable for any Russian learner! She was also very helpful in providing tips on how to continue studying and improving at home.

I was so impressed after my intensive course that I started regular lessons with her. After just over a year, my Russian has improved dramatically in all areas.

I would highly recommend!

Having known Natalia as a friend, since she was studying English Proficiency more than 10 years ago, I would recommend her as a tutor.
Not only is she well qualified, but is enthusiastic and patient, and can explain the cultural aspects of Russian which make the language relevant.
