About Tamsin
I have been sewing since I was a small child and have developed my skills to be able to follow almost every pattern and have learned from very talented and accomplished seamstresses. I have experience on a variety of machines and helped tutor a beginner sewing course. I have worked with people of all different skill levels.

I teach by showing and doing. I myself am a very visual learner, so I try to make what I’m doing visible and use careful descriptions to provide more in depth instructions. I try to check what the students need and use that as a base for what I teach.

Tamsin is an amazing teacher. They are really kind and understanding when I was a bit slow or not understanding right away. I was able to learn how to use a sewing machine well within 2-3 sessions and was able to construct a covid mask after 2 sessions. Tamsin was a really amazing teacher and I still use their services to widen my sewing knowledge.
