About Giulia
I am a very passionate teacher and have been described as a very caring and considerate teacher. I aspire to work with my students to the highest level possible for all ages. I give my students a lot of different exercises so they understand fully what I am teaching them. I make sure my students keep on track with their singing by setting them homework and exercises to work on during the week until I next see them. I have been working with students for the past 10 years and I am very experienced in the field.

Methodology
I am an experienced professional musician with over 10 years experience teaching singing, music theory and Italian. I trained at the Royal Academy of Music where I have recently graduated as an Opera singer. My degrees include BMus (Hons), MA (Distinction), LRAM (Distinction), Advanced Diploma Doctorate in Opera all attained at the Royal Academy of Music.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Singing, Music theory, Italian and Musicianship to children from the age of 7 and adults of all levels of ability, in styles that include classical, opera and musical theatre. I have sung with many national opera companies and performed in concerts all over Europe and I specialize in coaching students for ABRSM exams, entrance exams for secondary schools, auditions and recital performances.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I hold an LRAM (Licentiate at the Royal Academy of Music) in teaching. I studied performance at the Opera School at the Royal Academy of Music. I have completed my BMus and MA degrees. I studied musical theatre at the Mountview in London. I trained as an actor through LAMDA. I am bilingual in Italian and speak fluent Spanish.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £40 for 45 minutes and £45 for an hour
- Where do you teach?
I teach at home in Southgate, London, N14 or via webcam, Covid has made this viable. The nearest tube is Southgate on the Piccadilly line. It is a 10 minute walk from the station, or you could take a bus for 1 stop. There is plenty of free parking outside the house.
- When are you available?
I am available weekdays Mon-Fri after 5pm, Weekday mornings from 9:30-12:30 and Sundays from 12-5. I also teach throughout school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I have students of all ages, from 7 to 60+! I teach all grades in singing from total beginners to professional performers and have lots of experience preparing students for auditions and exams. I teach up to grade 5 in Music theory.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
ABRSM graded exams. Entrance to secondary schools for music, conservatoires, universities, stage and drama schools, opera companies.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
My priority is to bring out the best in each individual student and to make our lessons as enjoyable as possible. I try to make each lesson an exciting experience for the student and myself and will always be attentive of the needs of my student and I like to adapt to the interests and natural abilities of each student.
