Am Donald Felix, from imo state, teaching for me is a hubby And I love it when I share ideas that my be very helpful and beneficial to my scholars, marketing and finance courses/subjects has been my field for long and I wish to share every knowledge with you all.

About the lesson

Got you. Let's break it simple.

1. MARKETING itself
Marketing = anything you do to make people know, like, and buy your product.

It has 4 pillars (4Ps):
- *Product* - What you sell
- *Price* - How much
- *Place* - Where you sell it
- *Promotion* - How you tell people

Old marketing = Flyers, radio, TV, billboard, word-of-mouth.

2. DIGITAL MARKETING
Digital marketing = doing that same marketing, but ONLINE.

Where people spend time now = Phone.

*Main branches:*

*1. Social Media Marketing* - Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X. Growing followers, running ads.
*2. Content Marketing* - Reels, posts, blogs that make people trust you.
*3. Paid Ads (SEM)* - Pay Google or Facebook to show your product first.
*4. SEO* - Make Google show your business when people search.
*5. Email / WhatsApp Marketing* - Sending offers to customers directly.
*6. Influencer Marketing* - Using people with audience to sell for you.

*Simple difference:*
> Marketing = The game.
> Digital Marketing = Playing the game online where attention is cheaper and faster.

Example:
If you sell clothes in Port Harcourt:
- Marketing = Tell people you have fine wears.
- Digital Marketing = Post the wears on TikTok, run IG ads for people in PH, make them order via WhatsApp.
