About Jim
I thoroughly enjoy math, science, programming and tutoring and try to pass on that joy to my students. I have tutored students in all levels of mathematics from 3rd grade math through College level Calculus 2 as well as test prep (GRE, SAT math, NY Regents Math). I have tutored Physics (high school, college and university levels), High School Chemistry, College Biology and College Astronomy. I have tutored Java, C/C++, VB and MIPS programming. I taught courses in College Algebra and Advanced Engineering Math. Finally I have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have worked as a Software Engineer for decades. I'm available to tutor online at any time or locally in person.

I enjoy tutoring students one on one individualized to their specific needs. If the student uses a particular textbook, I teach based on that book. I have tutored many STEM subjects from grade school through college level. I tutor online. I also tutor in person in the Rochester, NY area.
