About Ella
Hi! I'm Ella, a third-year Bachelor of Science (Pure & Applied Chemistry) student at the University of Adelaide with a strong academic record and research experience.
In high school, I wasn't always a top student. I know what it's like to feel stuck and wonder if you're just not smart enough. As I learned better study methods and focused on understanding concepts instead of memorizing them, my results improved a lot. That journey has helped me understand what students often struggle with and how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense.
I know that every student learns differently. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence at their own pace.

I offer tutoring for Year 10–12 Chemistry, Science, and Math, as well as introductory university chemistry.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on understanding over memorizing. I like to explain concepts step by step, encourage students to ask questions, and adapt each lesson to their learning style and pace.
Lessons are usually 120 minutes, but I'm happy to adjust the length to suit your needs.
