About Emma Lee
I am 20 years old and a third year conservatory student majoring in violin. I have been playing the violin for 14 years and also play in a number of orchestras.
I play classical music, Irish folk music, symphonic rock and I have played in pop bands.
I have also taught music theory.

You can choose lessons between 30 and 60 minutes.
I teach by ear. This means that we learn pieces or songs by ear and that the notes are added later. By doing this, a student learns to play more on feeling, which creates more emotion in pieces. The student also learns to improvise faster. For example, you can play in pop or jazz bands.
Collaboration is also fun and important. This is how you learn to listen to others. Playing together will be done with other violinists, a pianist or maybe even a pop band.
Students will work towards small concerts for family and friends. This works as a motivator to achieve goals and to practice.
A pleasant classroom atmosphere is the most important. I want the student to feel comfortable and dare to make mistakes. The lesson should remain fun and not become a big mess.
