About Tom
Hello there! I am a Manchester local and completed my Bachelor of Music at the Royal Northern College of Music, then relocated to London to complete my Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music. During this time, I have experience as a Freelance Musician, working with professional orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, as well many Drama and Theatre companies such as SEDOS and Geoids. I aim to continue building my reputation and operate to the highest level of professionalism. I also work at the Junior Royal College of Music and have developed a deep interest and passion in securing the future of Classical music in the UK. I find a great personal passion in seeing growth in musicians and creating fun and engaging experiences for my students.

My goal is to create engaging and inspiring lessons to help students improve in a way that suits them best. As a recent Masters student at the Royal College of Music, I believe in my teaching methodology as I have recent influence from many top industry professionals and have drawn on experience to create my own teaching techniques. I offer tuition through ABRSM Grading or simply improving without grades. I typically offer lessons of 45mins or 1 hour in person, but I'm willing to negotiate. I have experience teaching private students of ages 8-18, ranging from beginners to advanced players, but I'm willing to teach anyone with a passion and desire for music. My only prerequisite for tuition is that students possess a Horn, as I am not capable of loaning instruments.
