About Sim

I am currently studying keyboard at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and have served military service as a musician in my home country (happy to provide further details on both!)

I am a seasoned performer in the process of preparing for international piano competitions, and I look forward to sharing tips and tricks that I've found useful so you too can make leaps in your playing.

About the lesson

Regardless of whether you're preparing to audition for conservatoire or just want to learn a specific song, I am confident that I will be able to help you on the path to achieve your pianistic goals in the shortest and most effective way possible.

My focus is on building a healthy and robust piano technique that prevents a pianist from sustaining injury, which is too often ignored in professional training. We will also focus on stage presence and the mental aspects of confidence during performances. Most importantly, I will aid the development of your musical instincts, to enable you to play expressively and communicatively.

Trial lesson is free, and I am more than happy to discuss how to help you best achieve your musical goals.

Driven by his passion of music, Sim is a highly skilled and rising pianist I have had the pleasure to work with on multiple occasions. He is one of the very few people I know who connects to the music he plays on a higher level than most students today. Given this, I know he would be an excellent teacher and make learning for students an enjoyable experience, and students will learn more than just playing the piano. If you are looking for a piano teacher, I would most certainly reccomend Sim.

I know Sim as we are both currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Sim is an exceptionally gifted pianist who is studying in the most prestigious studio in the school as a first year undergraduate. I am confident his passion for education will result in enjoyable and productive lessons for students of any level.
