Hello! I’m Jayne Alexander, and I’m passionate about bringing social studies to life for my students. I currently teach grades 8-12 at a well-regarded private school in British Columbia. I hold a degree in History, as well as a teaching degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC).

As a tutor for AP Human Geography, I focus on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment tailored to each student's needs. My teaching methodology blends concept-based learning with real-world examples, helping students understand the underlying principles of human geography and how they apply to global patterns and processes. What sets me apart is my ability to break down complex concepts into manageable ideas and adapt my teaching style to each student's learning pace. I also make a point of connecting course material to current events and real-life scenarios, making learning more relevant and interesting.
