About Sharini

Hi! I’m Sharini, a medical student at University College London (UCL), with a genuine passion for Biology, Medicine and helping others learn. I’m friendly, approachable and patient, and I believe everyone learns differently, so there’s no such thing as a silly question!

I want to teach because I love making complex concepts easier to understand and helping students realise their potential. Having experienced the challenges of studying myself, I understand how overwhelming certain topics can feel. Alongside explaining difficult concepts, I’ll share effective study techniques, memory strategies and revision methods to help you retain information for longer, understand the why behind what you’re learning, and feel more confident during exams.

My goal is to make learning less stressful, more engaging and enjoyable while helping you develop study skills that benefit you far beyond our lessons. Let’s work towards your goals together!

🩺 Why Learn with Me?

As a UCL medical student, I understand how challenging Biology and Medicine can feel, especially when you’re faced with complex concepts, endless revision and exam pressure. Having achieved a Grade 7 in IB Higher Level Biology, an A* in IGCSE Biology, and a Pass with Merit in Medicine, I know the importance of building strong foundations and developing effective study techniques.

My approach is friendly, patient and tailored to you. I focus on breaking down difficult topics into simple explanations, using examples to bring concepts to life, and practising exam-style questions to help you apply what you’ve learnt. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams or aiming for top grades, we’ll work together at your pace and focus on what you need most.

Having recently been a student myself, I understand the pressure of exams and the difference that clear explanations and the right support can make. My goal isn’t just to help you memorise information, but to help you genuinely understand it, feel more confident and enjoy learning along the way. Let’s work towards your goals together!
