About Sushi

I am a neuroscience educator and researcher with a specific interest in pain perception and chronic illnesses. I received a bachelor's degree in Biology from Ashoka University with a thesis exploring how long-term and unpredictable early life stress affects an organism’s behavioral responses to pain. I love talking about anything biology, and am always eager to learn more. I am passionate about making STEM education more accessible to all kinds of brains!

About the lesson

My lessons are primarily tailored for high school and college students preparing for Advanced Placement exams, as well as SAT and GRE Subject Tests. My dynamic teaching approach combines active and passive learning methods to make complex concepts accessible to all skill and interest levels. In a class with me, you'll experience concepts taught with interactive demonstrations, memory aids to help you with enhanced recall (especially during tests), and simulations that bring biology to life (pun intended). With practical examples and assessments at spaced intervals, you'll master key concepts with ease. Plus, I provide personalized online tools ensure that you learn in a way that works for your brain. With these resources, you won't just study, you'll excel!
