About Fatik

Hello! My name is Syed Naqvi, and I am currently a university student majoring in Biomedical Science. My passion for Biology and Chemistry has driven me to share my knowledge and help others succeed in these fascinating subjects. Teaching allows me to connect with students and inspire a love for science. It also helps me keep my knowledge sharp and explore different views, enriching my own understanding of the material. I believe that understanding the natural world through Biology and Chemistry can open doors to endless possibilities and careers. By tutoring, I aim to make these subjects accessible and enjoyable, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. As a student myself, I understand the pressures and difficulties that come with studying. This perspective enables me to empathise with my students and provide the support they need. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new concepts. My goal is to not only help students excel in their exams but also to foster a deeper appreciation for the sciences. I am committed to making a difference in my students' academic journeys and empowering them to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I adopt a student-centred approach, customising my teaching methods to match each student's unique learning style. I incorporate deep and branching discussions to provide a more rounded and fleshed-out understanding of the material. Additionally, I use technology and multimedia resources to enhance understanding and retention. Regular feedback and assessments are integral to my approach, allowing me to track progress and adjust my methods as needed. Typical Length of a Lesson: Each lesson typically lasts about 60 minutes. This duration is ideal for thoroughly exploring the topic, engaging in interactive discussions, and allowing time for questions and practice. Depending on the student's age or the complexity of the subject, I may adjust the lesson length to ensure optimal focus and retention. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for students from GCSE to A-level. I specialise in Biology and Chemistry, and I cater to students preparing for exams, needing help with homework, or seeking to improve their understanding of these subjects. Additionally, I offer tailored lessons for adult learners looking to gain new skills or knowledge in Biology and Chemistry.
