About Everly

I’m a piano tutor with over 14 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, specializing in piano. I have expertise teaching a wide range of pianos—including Grand, Player, Digital, Upright, Classical, Electric Keyboard, and Acoustic Piano. My lessons cover important areas like chord theory, ear training, and improvisation, helping students build strong musical foundations and creativity. I take a student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to fit the unique goals and needs of each individual. Whether you’re a school student just starting out or an adult learner aiming for professional mastery, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I’ve worked with beginners, advanced students, and even those at the professional or expert level. My focus is on helping you grow confidently as a musician, while making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding. Together, we’ll explore technique, theory, and expression in a way that suits your style. I encourage all my students to embrace their creativity and enjoy the journey of music. If you’re ready to start or continue your musical adventure, I’d love to help you develop your skills with confidence and passion.

About the lesson

I offer a unique piano teaching approach that blends classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary styles to suit each student’s tastes and goals. My lessons are personalized, focusing on what inspires you most while building strong technique and musicality. I use modern tech tools like ear training apps to sharpen your pitch and metronomes to improve timing and rhythm.

For those interested in creating and producing music, I incorporate digital audio workstations (DAWs) to explore creativity beyond the piano keys. Whether you’re drawn to traditional church music or modern digital production, I support your journey with tailored guidance that helps you excel in your style.

I believe learning piano should be engaging and encouraging. Every student’s progress is celebrated, and lessons are designed to boost confidence and enjoyment. My goal is to help you not just play, but truly connect with music in a way that feels meaningful and exciting. Together, we’ll unlock your full potential, combining skill and passion at every step.
