About Onkabetse
My name is Onkabetse Motshwaedi, and I am currently a first-year university student pursuing my dream course. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong passion for Mathematics, Organic Chemistry and Life Sciences, subjects that have taught me discipline, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
I am interested in teaching because I understand that many learners struggle not because they lack potential, but because they have not yet found a teaching approach that works for them. I enjoy helping others understand concepts that once seemed difficult and seeing the confidence they gain when they finally grasp a topic.
As a tutor, I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. I believe that education is about more than passing exams—it's about building confidence, developing independent thinking, and unlocking opportunities for the future.
My goal is to help learners improve academically while also inspiring them to believe in their own abilities. By sharing my knowledge and experiences, I hope to make Mathematics and Life Sciences more accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for every student.

What makes my lessons unique is that I focus on understanding before memorising. Many learners struggle because they are taught what to think instead of how to think. In both Mathematics and Life Sciences, I break down difficult concepts into simple, relatable examples that learners can connect with their everyday lives.
I also tailor my teaching approach to each learner's needs, strengths, and pace. Rather than rushing through content, I identify learning gaps and build a strong foundation before introducing more advanced concepts. My lessons are interactive, encouraging learners to ask questions, participate actively, and develop confidence in their abilities.
As a university student, I understand the academic pressures learners face and can relate to them more easily. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where learners feel comfortable making mistakes, learning from them, and achieving their full potential.
My goal is not only to help learners improve their marks but also to develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a genuine appreciation for Mathematics and Life Sciences.
