About the lesson

I believe in teaching towards understanding, not memorization. I feel that I personally learn the best when I am taught how and why things work the way they do, as opposed to being taught to memorize the process to solve any one particular problem. When students understand how things work they are able to think critically and apply that knowledge to any type of problem.
