About Max
Through years of tutoring experience, I can confidently say I strike the optimal balance between divulging knowledge and experience and allowing my students to forge their own creative problem-solving methods and styles of thinking.
I approach life with a very open mindset, always eager to learn - encouraging this mindset of growth is a core tenet of my teaching philosophy. This approach has taken me to amazing places, including working with spacecraft with the European Space Agency in Belgium, a charity internship in Germany and an international sustainability project in Malaysia - all experiences I would love for my students to one day share.
It is through this lifestyle of continuous learning I find myself in the privileged position to offer guidance on an array of subject matters to an advanced level. At the college/A-Level and university standard these include Mathematics (including further, mechanics, etc.), physics, computer science & programming and German.

Typically lessons last 1 hour, but the duration is flexible as is the frequency. Usually online, but happy to discuss the possibility of face-to-face.
Believing firmly in the value of critical thinking, I guide my students to develop their own problem-solving mindset. My lessons are relaxed but not completely informal.
I foster a deep professional relationship with my students, whereby we are comfortable to share and critique one another and I take genuine interest in their aspirations - this personal understanding is the foundation upon which our personalised lessons have built my students up to flourish and meet their goals.
