About Orion
I am currently studying American Studies at Portsmouth University but have a strong passion for music, with experience: performing as a beatboxer in the UK Beatbox Championships 2017; singing as part of a University vocal group; singing and playing guitar as part of Portsmouth Gospel Choir . This is my first experience teaching guitar however I have been actively involved in playing for a Gospel Choir for the past year and am at an intermediate level.

I am self-taught in guitar and as such I have been a very visual learner. In this way I shall teach beginner level students to learn the basic chords and scales, a very practical approach to learning the guitar. This will develop into utilizing these new skills to perform basic chord strumming songs so that an accompanying singer could join. This will develop into more difficult songs that require greater technicality using finger picking.

If the student were to require a home tutorial my rate would go up by £5 an hour to a total of £35 per hour.
