I emphasize the importance of understanding the underlying principles of mathematics rather than just memorizing formulas. I use real-life examples and visual aids to make abstract concepts more tangible. I encourage my students to approach problems logically, breaking them down into manageable steps. Additionally, I promote active learning through discussions, Q&A sessions, and hands-on exercises. This encourages students to ask questions, seek clarification, and participate actively in the learning process.
My typical lesson plan begins with an introduction part, which involves explaining the learning objectives for the session and providing context for the topic we will be covering. This is followed with a presentation of the core mathematical concepts, breaking them down into understandable segments. Visual aids and real-world examples will be used to illustrate the concepts. Thereafter, students receive problems to solve, allowing them to apply what they've learned.
