About Lachie
I am a Class of 2025 graduate who has studied IB mathematics (analysis and approaches) and English Literature Higher Level. I am a recipient of a 96 ATAR and am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne, with the goal of studying Juris Doctor (Law) as a post-graduate degree. I am an experienced tutor, specialising in mathematics and English for primary and secondary students, including VCE students. I am a two-time scholarship recipient and 10+ time awardee for academic performance, and was shortlisted in an International writing competition in high school. I also have a current and valid Working with Children Check. I am based in Ivanhoe, and am dedicated to achieving the highest results for my students.

Having recently graduated, I have an in-depth understanding of what high school mathematics and English specifically demands. I have achieved top results in IB Literature AA Higher Level as well as in IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches, and so can offer high quality tutoring in all mathematics subjects, including General Mathematics and Methods.
I have a flexible approach to teaching, tailored to the needs of my students. I try to bring students to a deeper understanding of their work within a calm and encouraging environment. My lessons have been highly successful in achieving top results for students, and are interactive and engaging.
