About Ali

Hi, I'm Ali, a math and science tutor who has been working with middle school, high school, and college students since 2023. I hold a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Data Science from the University of Virginia, where I graduated in 2025 with a 3.94 GPA.

I tutor math from Pre-Algebra through Calculus III and Differential Equations, general and organic chemistry, biology, and physics. My approach is patient and diagnostic: I find the exact step where a student gets stuck and rebuild from there, focused on the why behind each concept rather than memorization alone.

Whether you're aiming to ace an exam, strengthen your foundation, or finally make sense of a subject you've been dreading, I'll meet you where you are and build forward from there.

About the lesson

Are you ready to feel confident in STEM instead of just getting through it? I offer personalized, one-on-one tutoring built around how you actually learn. Whether you are catching up on Algebra, working through Calculus, fighting your way through Organic Chemistry, or trying to finally understand Physics, I am here to help.

- Break down hard concepts into clear, digestible pieces
- Build deep understanding, not just memorization
- Strengthen problem-solving confidence so test day feels routine
- Get steady progress with structured, focused sessions

My approach is patient, diagnostic, and warm. I find the exact step where things break down and rebuild from there, so the gap stops following you into every new chapter.

Let's make STEM your strength. Book a trial session today!

Ali tutored me through AP Calc and I honestly don't think I would've gotten through it without him. He never made me feel stupid for not understanding something, and when I was completely lost on series and convergence, he rebuilt the whole concept from scratch until it actually clicked. He pays attention to how you think, catches the exact spot where your reasoning goes off, and fixes that instead of just handing you the answer. Calm, patient, and clearly cares whether you actually learn the material. He is the best!

Ali is a great tutor and genuinely one of the smartest people I know. He has a really natural way of explaining things and can adapt to your learning style and the way you think, which makes a huge difference when a subject feels confusing or overwhelming.

He is patient, clear, and really good at figuring out where you are struggling so he can explain it in a way that actually clicks. He is more than qualified in every subject he teaches, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a tutor who is both extremely knowledgeable and easy to learn from.
