Hello, my name is Sophie. I am an AP Calculus BC student. I have straight As and have had plenty of experience with peer tutoring, for all levels of elementary to high school math. I find peer tutoring can be better than traditional at times due to a better understanding of student struggles.

A lot of the time, the reason kids do not understand a math concept is because teachers go pretty fast and do not really explain what’s going on. I peer tutor for all math levels elementary to high school, and with my method, I go more in depth in what is actually going on in a math problem, determine what a student is struggling on, and focus on that until we achieve success.
