About Dhruv

Hello, I'm Dhruv and I live in Stevenage. I have 4A*'s 10 9s and 2 8s at GCSE, and am currently studying Physical Natural Sciences at Cambridge, achieving a first-class in my first year. I achieved 5/5 offers for university - Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Manchester and KCL. I have always loved problem solving and STEM provides an outlet in which to really exercise the brain. Beyond university, I love to play music and sport, and I also enjoy quizzing, having won the National Schools' Challenge twice with the school team - I hope to be on University Challenge someday!

About the lesson

I can teach up to A-Level standard on maths, physics and chemistry. A typical lesson would be half an hour to an hour. I approach STEM subjects by focusing on understanding concepts, rather than memorisation of a textbook. Once these core foundations are gained, it is much easier to tackle any other complex problems. I intend to help students reach their potential because I believe that it is possible for every student to achieve A*'s if they are taught in the right way and think with clarity.

Perfect! My son has only been having lessons for a few weeks, but we’re already very happy with his teaching. He is patient, friendly, and explains things clearly. The lessons have been well structured, and we’re looking forward to seeing continued progress over the coming months. We highly recommend him to others.
