About Laura
I have been tutoring Maths for 5 years, and have taught more than 20 students aged 10-16. Through discussion, exercises and encouragement, I have helped many of these students achieve better GCSE results than predicted. I have worked with students of all abilities, whether improving the grade from a predicted fail to a pass or helping them achieve top marks. I aim to give students of all ages an enthusiasm and grounded understanding of the subject.

I like to structure my lessons to complement the school syllabus, ensuring that the students understand each topic as they encounter it. If they have any specific difficulties, we will give these extra focus, working through with practical exercises until the student is confident. Confidence is key, especially when it comes to exams; my teaching style is tailored to help each student feel as comfortable as possible when tackling questions.
