About Tomo

Hi, I’m Tomo, an A-Level Further Maths student with a strong academic record and a deep interest in mathematics. I specialise in helping students aiming for top GCSE and A-Level grades develop clear understanding, precision, and confidence in their problem solving.

Having studied advanced maths myself, I understand the challenges students face and how to break complex concepts into logical, manageable steps. My teaching focuses on deep understanding, efficient methods, and exam-level thinking rather than memorisation.

I support motivated students who want to strengthen fundamentals, master difficult topics, and achieve their highest potential in mathematics.

About the lesson

My maths lessons are personalised, structured, and designed to make complex topics clear and manageable. I focus on building strong understanding step by step, so students gain both confidence and accuracy in their work.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals — whether that’s strengthening fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, or preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams. I break down difficult concepts into simple methods, then reinforce learning through targeted practice and exam-style questions.

I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to develop lasting mathematical confidence and independent thinking.
