About Helayna
I am a BioHealth student with a focus in pre-med working to go into pediatrics. I am currently teaching after-school Spanish for elementary schoolers and will work as a chemistry Learning Assistant in the upcoming school year.
School can be frustrating when you don't understand what you are learning, but I believe everyone has the capacity to succeed when they are willing to work toward their goals. I am excited to work with you and will help tailor my teaching and methods to your needs to ensure you fully grasp the concept and feel confident in your abilities.

My lesson plans are tailored to you and what you aren't conceptually understanding. I am happy to help with reviewing homework, brushing up on old concepts, and even reviewing for exams.
I think the best way to learn something is through practice problems and being able to write out the steps to solve and knowing why each step takes place. You know you have finally mastered the subject when you are able to effectively explain the concept to someone else in simplified terms.
