About Krishnasai
I am a freshman attending the University of Texas at Dallas where I am planning to major in information technology and systems. I have been giving lessons for about 2 years now at both Gideon Math & Reading and Mathnasium. I can teach elementary math all the way to Calculus II and PSAT/SAT Math.

If I have one hour, I would teach the basics of each concept for about 15 minutes, and go through examples for the rest of the time. As I am also a student, whenever I am learning a concept that is most likely going to be tested on later, I spend my time mostly on examples so I know how to do the steps correctly. Likewise, I would also teach my students the same way as I have found it to be very effective.
To me, the single most important characteristic of a great teacher is attitude. Attitude is everything; it is the ultimate backbone of all other characteristics. Your attitude determines how successful you can be. Some people might say that attributes such as being organized, having clear objectives, and engaging with students are the utmost factors to being a great teacher. Yes, these characteristics are truly vital, however, having an optimistic, cooperative, and influential voice will lead to performing these vital actions and ultimately lead to great productivity. Whenever I teach someone, I strive to work by this principle each and every moment. Good teachers will have a sufficient amount of knowledge of the subject and give accurate information to students, but great teachers will have a passion to teach and enjoy helping students who are in need as well as sharing accurate information. This is what makes me a great teacher.
