About Cole
Hi! My name is Cole. I worked at Weber State University as a math tutor for two semesters and just completed an associate degree in mathematics. Before that, I was a freelance jr. high math tutor. I really enjoy math, meeting new people, and helping people meet their goals!

My sessions are student led and I prefer having students work through problems with assistance rather than lecturing at them. I look at tutoring as a team effort, so I get to know my students to better fulfill their needs.
I enjoy math and have developed several different ways to understand a topic, so if one doesn't work for a student, there are many other options. I pride myself in my fluidity, so no matter how stuck a student feels on a topic, there will always be a way forward.
I can tutor all levels of calculus, precalculus, linear algebra, and general high school level math.

My experience with Cole from the Weber State Tutoring Department was very worthwhile. He was very helpful, understanding, and patient; being able to meet me at my level and work from there. He was able adjust his explanations of difficult concepts that really worked me.
He's not only fun to be around but also incredibly helpful. Cole utilizes multiple different paths of teaching, guaranteeing understanding from at least one method. Cole's attitude toward teaching is very likely his best quality, for he changes his demeanor quickly to what suits the student the best. Overall, I highly recommend Cole as a math-oriented tutor.
