About Jamie
I am a credentialed math teacher with 15 years experience. I spent 10 years teaching math in the classroom before switching to private math tutoring and becoming a private homeschool teacher. I have worked with a wide range of students and abilities, from those who have learning disabilities to those who are advanced and need an extra challenge.

I love teaching math, especially to kids who don't think they can "get it" I truly believe EVERYONE can do well in math and that it's just up to the teacher/tutor to find a way to explain it that makes sense to that specific student. With so many ways to approach and think about math it's just a matter of working with each student's learning style and way of thinking.
