About Amey
I love helping students make Maths click. I know how stressful exams can feel, and I want to help you not just understand the topics, but also develop the exam techniques and confidence to tackle any question. I’ve seen students go from struggling with grades 3–4 to achieving 8s and 9s at GCSE, and I know that with the right guidance, hard work, and strategies, you can reach your goals too. My aim is to make lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to your needs, so that Maths becomes less intimidating and more manageable — while preparing you to succeed in your exams.

I offer online 1-to-1 tutoring in GCSE Maths, A-Level Maths, and Further Maths, tailored to each student’s needs. With over 50 hours of teaching experience in school, I’ve helped students make remarkable progress — moving from grades 3–4 to as high as 8 and even 9 at GCSE. I have a 9 at GCSE maths and an A* at A level maths and Further maths. My lessons are interactive, clear, and focused on building both confidence and problem-solving skills. I adapt my teaching style to each student, ensuring they not only understand the content but also develop exam techniques to achieve top marks. Amey is an excellent friendly tutor. He takes time to fully understand his student’s concerns and then tackles them to make sure the problem is dealt with from the core. He made me feel really comfortable and he never made me feel silly when I repeatedly asked questions about a topic. His teaching method is a great balance of practice and learning, meaning I was able to fully understand each topic and apply lessons to a wide range of questions. I’d recommend him 100% as he thoroughly enjoys Maths, which makes learning it more fun!
