About Dahlia
I am a freshman at Georgetown's Walsh School of Foreign Service, studying International Politics and Security with a potential Arabic and/or Math minor. Math has always been my favorite subject in school, but I also love history and writing of any kind. I was at the top of my class in high school and earned a 1560 on the SAT as well as 5s in AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, AP Macro, AP Lang, AP Lit, AP US Government, and AP World History. But most importantly, I am very passionate about teaching and learning. I want people to enjoy it and be as inspired as I have been.

I like to have a balanced teaching approach: some standard teaching, explanation, and practice problems, but also interactive learning and incorporation of outside interests such as music or sports for increased engagement!
Typical lesson plan: Overview, standard teaching, practice problems, then fun, interest-related problems and exercises.
I am open to tutoring anyone, elementary through high school, and even college, up to multivariable calculus.
What sets me apart is my well-rounded nature. I have always been the strongest in math and pursued advanced classes (including here at Georgetown), but I am studying International Relations primarily. I come with fresh perspectives and passion.
