About Ivy
I am a Columbia University student majoring in Economics and Political Science with prior experience tutoring and mentoring students in both academic and athletic settings. I have completed coursework in Precalculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, College Calculus I, College Calculus III, AP statistics and Calculus-based statistics allowing me to support students across a broad range of math levels.
As a tutor, I plan on focusing on patience and adaptability, ensuring that my teaching style aligns to each student’s needs with full support.

I’m a Columbia University student majoring in Economics and Political Science with experience mentoring and teaching through both tutoring and sports coaching. Working with students in different settings has taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and focused on helping each student learn in the way that works best for them.
I have a background in abacus training, which gave me a strong foundation in mental math and number sense, which is a fun and exciting way to introduce math to kids who have a hard time visualizing numbers. I also have a background in Precalculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, College Calculus I, and College Calculus III, AP statistics, Calculus-based statistics. This allows me to support students from foundational math through advanced calculus topics.
Whether you or your child needs help strengthening fundamentals, keeping up with classwork, prepping for an exam or tackling more challenging material, I aim to make math approachable and engaging.
