About Kordor
What's up, fellows! My name is Kordor and I am an enthusiast of math subjects such as calculus, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. I am also passionate about computer science concepts like data structures and algorithms. I believe that these subjects are all connected to the real world and are crucial in various industries and fields.
Calculus, for example, is essential in analyzing and predicting changes in physical systems, such as the motion of objects or the behavior of fluids. Algebra and geometry, on the other hand, are fundamental in solving real-world problems, such as calculating the area of a room or designing a bridge. Trigonometry is also a crucial tool in fields like architecture, engineering, and navigation.
In today's world, computer science concepts like data structures and algorithms are becoming increasingly important. They are used in developing software and technology, analyzing data, and creating artificial intelligence. These concepts are essential in solving complex problems and creating innovative solutions.
What sets me apart is my passion for these subjects and my ability to apply them to real-world problems. My teaching techniques and methods will mostly involve inquiry-based learning where students actively explore and investigate concepts through inquiry and research. It involves posing questions, conducting experiments, and seeking answers. This type of learning promotes critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the development of a deep understanding of the subject matter. I then facilitate, guiding students' investigations and providing support along the way. I may also incorporate methods such as the Socratic method as necessary.
I am willing to teach classes from ranging from school to college level. My one special feature as a teacher is being pragmatic when it comes to problem-solving.
