About Mrinal
Hi, I'm Mrinal. I'll be starting Computer Science at Oxford in October 2026, and I scored 9.0/9.0 in the TMUA last year.
I remember how confusing the TMUA felt when I first started preparing for it. Most advice online was either too generic or came from people who hadn't actually taken the test recently. That's part of why I decided to teach it.
Since I've been through the process myself, I can share what worked for me, what didn't, and how I approached both the TMUA and Oxbridge admissions. Whether you're aiming for Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Warwick, or another university that uses the TMUA, I'm happy to help you navigate the process and avoid some of the mistakes I made along the way.

I took the TMUA myself last year and scored 9.0/9.0, so I understand exactly what the preparation process is like. My lessons focus on helping students develop the problem-solving and mathematical reasoning skills needed for the exam. We'll work through past papers, identify weak areas, and practise the techniques that come up most often. I also share insights from my own admissions experience as an incoming Oxford Computer Science student. The lessons are aimed at students preparing for the TMUA and Oxbridge applications.
