About Robert
I'm Robert, an undergraduate studying economics and Russian at the University of Leeds. Over the course of my year abroad, I had the opportunity to do teacher training and teach non-native speakers English, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I would like to continue that though the rest of university teaching subjects that I enjoy and have always excelled at like maths and science.
Continuing to study maths under my economics degree and having 9s in all science at GCSE, I am confident in my subject knowledge and knowledge of the current exam boards as I have personally gone through them.

As schools tend to focus on the volume of content they teach to get through the syllabus, my lessons will focus on making sure my students will be able to understand, recall and produce this content in a way that the exam board wants. A slightfocus on exam technique insures that students achieve their full ability, without impeding understanding, which is important further on.
In my time tutoring English to non-native speakers on my year abroad, I found that one hour lessons are the most effective and convenient for both parties.
