About Nathaniel
My name is Nathaniel Bisnouth, a Masters level educated Assistant Headteacher with over 6 years experience in the profession. I am currently studying coding as I make a move into the world of Tech and I'm looking for some part time work in the meantime.
I would describe my teaching style as attentive, patient and creative. When working with children and helping them learn, I find it important to establish a good relationship with each individual, understand their learning style and then help develop and nurture their confidence as a learner. I believe that our best learning occurs when we are truly engaged and interested by our topic and then challenged by what we are learning about. Whilst for some subjects or topics it may be difficult to naturally inspire this excitement in children, engaging my students in their learning is something which I pride myself on.
Alongside teaching, over the last few years I have cultivated an interest in business, creating an education podcast and founded The Childs Voice Oracy Project, a company which was dedicated to improving children’s oracy skills particularly within the most marginalized communities. My experience in teaching demonstrates a proven track record of excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, with which I have formed good relationships with my colleagues, students and their parents alike, in order to effectively add value to the children I have taught. Given my studious and passionate nature, soon after starting a career in education, I took it upon myself to further my understanding of the profession and studied for an MA in Education Policy and Society.
I’m a lover of books of various genres, both fiction and non-fiction and have maintained a keen interest in films. I am sociable person, so I enjoy spending time with family, friends and colleagues. In my free time, I like visiting the cinema and exploring music and art events at galleries and museums. I enjoy staying fit by playing 5-aside football, working out and cycling.
