About Katherine
I have a passion for teaching that began about 20 years ago when I started my education career. I really enjoy helping others, especially the youth of our world. I got my Bachelor of Arts degree from National Louis University in 2006. My career began in a private school where I taught amazing children in a small setting. I also began tutoring children from the age of 5 up through High School age. In addition to that, I had the pleasure of tutoring students overseas who were learning the English language. My career has been rich and diverse, working with all ages and cultures. I now teach in a public school and have been in this setting for almost over 14 years now. I really love inspiring others to do their best and it brings me great joy to serve and partner with students and their families.

I also create an environment that exudes respect, rapport, and inspires the students to want to learn at their utmost potential. My goal is to make the students confident, life-long learners that will love learning and be enthusiastic about their progress.
